Samuel Huntington et "le choc des civilisations". "Civilisation religieuse" ou cosmosystème ?

Samuel Huntington s Book, "The Clash of Civilizations", is apparently based on a convincing empirical and conceptual framework. However, the observation of historical sources, the partiality of the arguments evoked, and the avoidance of whatever could refute the " officialy defended "thesis, make this book apure product of the north american ideology. This paper is a historical and philosophical reflection designed for the presentation and the critic of its foundations.L'ouvrage de Samuel Huntington "Le Choc des civilisations" est en apparence fondé sur un appareillage empirique et conceptuel convaincant. Pourtant, l'observation des sources historiques, la partialité des arguments évoqués, et l'évitement de tout ce qui pourrait venir contredire la thèse "officiellement défendue" fait de ce livre un pur produit de l'idéologie nord-américaine contemporaine.
